Severe in design, as befits its purpose and meaning from remote antiquity unto the extant era, the Amoun Crown upholds the twin-plumed Lotus of Truth, mounted in the center front of a circlet of solid bronze. This sleek Crown bears upon the circlet an organic texture, reminiscent of thatched papyrus reed, that humble plant upon whose fibres Old Egypt first taught Mankind the art of the written word. The Amoun Crown is custom sized; consult our Measuring Guide. If intended for use with your existing regalia, include for our artisans a description of the style and material of your cloth headpiece to ensure correct fit. Or you may purchase your choice of a classic Skullcap (not shown) or an Egyptian Nemyss, which is depicted in images 2-4 of the Uraeus Crown. Both are sewn of crimson velvet, as is proper for most rites, but please contact us if you must have a custom colour. The Skullcap and the Egyptian Nemyss are also available separately.
